POOLSIDE Room 1st night deposits are due at the MARCH 2010 Meeting!

The Room Rates for the 2010 Convention:

Pool side: $ 96.25 first night

Ocean (floors 2-5) Regular: $129.40 first night

Ocean 1st Floor Regular: $151.50 first night

Ocean Apartment: $217.80 first night

First night rates include room taxes, an extra $15 to help pay for the hospitality room and $5 per room for maid tips.

Council's Convention Registration Form: This MUST be completed and turned in with payment
(for 2010: $55 per adult 21 and older, $25 for children ages 6-20)
at the March meeting.

Complete the form and bring your payment to the March meeting. See Sandy Metzler to turn in your form and payment.

Remember, husbands and wives MUST register separately, but register children on only one parents' form.

6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Convention Welcome Social (beer, food, and soda available for purchase at Castle in the Sand or outdoor grille)
6:30 PM - 10:00 PM Open Mike Night / Karaoke begins at 7:30PM (no contest, no prizes, just fun!)

Fri June 4, 2010:
9:00 AM Mini Golf Tournament at 28th Street Old Pro Golf
2:00 PM Scavenger Hunt Starts at Castle in the Sand
3:00 PM Horseshoes Tournament on the beach at Castle in the Sand
4:00 PM Tug-of-War Competition
4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Dunk Tank
5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tailgate Party with beer, soda, picnic food (hamburgers and hot dogs) catered by Beefalo Bob 5:00-9:00 PM
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Roost Karaoke Contest

10:00 AM Parade starts at 19th Street (Johnny Unitas Way) and Baltimore Avenue - Line Up at 8:30 AM

NOTES TO RR18 MEMBERS AND GUESTS AT THE CONVENTION

The RR 18 Hospitality room at the Dunes Hotel will be open on Thursday but members must BYOB until Friday. All minors under the age of 21 must not drink alcohol and must leave the Hospitality room before 9pm. Please bring a bag of munchies to contribute to the Hospitality room. As always you are responsible for your guests. Buzzy asks that you please help us by not throwing beer cans and cigarette butts into the shrubbery.

At The Castle in the Sand, Convention badges must be worn for soda and beer.

Please have legal ID with you at all times.
Bartenders reserve the right to refuse service to anyone without proper age identification.

Due to local Liquor and City Ordinances, you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol to the beach or to Castle in the Sand during these events. All alcoholic drinks must be purchased from Castle in the Sand or distributed from the Council's beer truck.

PLEASE, NO GLASS CONTAINERS ARE PERMITTED AT ANY TIME !
